The wait is over—Voodoo Brewing Co. has officially joined St. Pete’s thriving craft beer scene.

After years of anticipation and a few detours along the way, the 7,300-square-foot brewery at 220 4th Street North is now open, serving up a lineup of craft beers, unique cocktails, and a menu that goes beyond the standard pub fare.

The Transformation of a Local Landmark

Housed in the former Orange Blossom Catering building, Voodoo Brewing Co. has completely reimagined the space. The design marries industrial vibes with a bold, dark aesthetic that channels punk rock energy. Garage doors flood the first floor with natural light, while the second floor offers a bird’s-eye view of the action—and a throwback arcade and pinball lounge.

This ambitious project is the latest addition to property owner Michael Andoniades’ portfolio, which also includes the nearby Hollander Hotel.

Bob Skepnek, owner of Voodoo Brewing St. Pete, described the process leading up to the opening as “quite a roller coaster.” He noted that he had been telling people they were “about six weeks away” from opening for the past 10 months, highlighting the numerous ups and downs faced along the way. “I feel fortunate that we were able to overcome those, and here we are with the doors open,” he said.

Voodoo Brewing recently celebrated its long-awaited grand opening on 4th Street N. in downtown St. Pete.

What Sets Voodoo Apart? 🌍🍻

Voodoo Brewing, originally founded in Meadville, PA, has made its mark with over a dozen taprooms across the U.S., including locations in Jacksonville and Fort Myers. St. Pete’s outpost takes it up a notch, offering 26 taps that include Voodoo favorites alongside guest brews like 3 Daughters Brewing Beach Blonde Ale and Delirium Tremens Belgian Ale.

“Another thing I think that differentiates us in the craft brew scene in St. Pete is that we have a full kitchen,” Skepnek added. “A lot of our menu is pub fare, but we execute it at a very high level. And then there’s a few things on the menu that you might not totally expect.”

Voodoo’s menu includes wings, pizza, sandwiches, salads, “Beer Mussels,” a seared ahi tuna starter and a “Chicago Bear” sandwich (a nod to Skepnek’s home city) with slow-roasted beef from the brewpub’s on-site smoker.

Voodoo Brewing St. Pete owner Bob Skepnek wanted to make the space inviting with beer hall-style tables throughout the main dining area.

Brews, Booze & Mocktails

Beyond beer, Voodoo Brewing’s beverage program features hard seltzers, craft cocktails, and an evolving menu of mocktails for non-drinkers. Whether you’re here for a hoppy IPA, a refreshing seltzer, or a carefully crafted cocktail, there’s something for every taste.

From its beer-hall-style communal tables to its upstairs arcade, Voodoo Brewing is designed for more than just a quick drink. As the taps flow and the kitchen fires up, Bob and his team are laser-focused on one goal: exceeding expectations.
