What's your name and how many years have you been in St Pete?
My name is Cécile Erbe. I grew up in St. Petersburg and after a few moves, I made my way back to this beautiful city. I am married with 2 children ( a boy Xavier and a baby girl named Arden) . I work as a Marketing strategist full time, and I'm a content creator/ influencer. I've been doing both for a few years now, and I recently started working as a real estate agent as well. Being a creative is my passion and I love incorporating my lifestyle into the content creation work that I do.
What do you do for work and for fun?
I work as a marketing strategist and a realtor. I enjoy content creation, and being a fashion & lifestyle influencer is my hobby/ side hustle. I love to travel and explore my city with my family too!
What would your perfect day in St. Pete consist of?
I love outdoor food and wine events in the fall or spring. St. Pete is a city that has some of the best outdoor events in my opinion. I also love doing a full day at the Vinoy getting wined and dined.
How about your perfect date night?
A fabulous date night would be dinner at Sushi Sho Rexly, which is an amazing omakasé restaurant downtown, followed by a show (either a movie at the Sundial, or a magic show at the Zubrick theater), then ending the night for a final cocktail at the new rooftop bar, Sparrow.
What's a hidden gem - a drink, a meal, a place or an experience in DTSP that many may not know about?
Sushi Sho Rexley - The Omakasé restaurant I mentioned before. There is limited seating and its reservations only but the food is incredible and worth the effort. Also In Between Days is a really vibey Japanese listening room on 1st street that I love. It's small and almost looks like you're at someone's house. It's dark and moody inside with great music and even better cocktails.
One thing you still want to see in DTSP?
I would love to see more expansions. I love that everytime I go downtown there's something new, I just want that to happen at a wider range in St Pete. St. Pete is already such a progressive city, I imagine we'll be seeing a lot more of that soon in areas surrounding downtown. I would also love to see even more kid friendly venues.
What gets you out of bed every day?
My family. They are my reasons for everything I do.
